claiming energy from requests

for about 3 days now when i go to my backpack to use the +1 energys i hit a snag and have to reload. after reloading about the past 3-5 actions i have done aren't done anymore lol. anyone else having this issue?

i also missed out on the sewing machine quest item because items i requested from friends did not come thru until 2 days later. my artsy self really wanted that sewing machine lol. am i doing something wrong? overloading it or something?
